Radioactive Substances

Any substance containing radionuclides belongs to this class. The main danger of these materials is the emission of alpha, beta or gamma radiation.

Radioactive materials can be self-igniting or can initiate fire, besides, they can start corrosion or release thermal energy.

Radiation is dangerous thanks to formation of burns, violations of immune system, change of blood composition, a hair loss, cancer diseases, leukemia, genetic disorders and death. Safety of delivery of radioactive substances can be reached only by careful observance of all requirements imposed to their transportation.
